Department of Computer Science (MU)

The Department of Computer Science is a fast-growing and research-active entity at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Our major research projects are well funded by both federal governments and industries. With foundations covered in algorithms, compilers, computational theories, database, networking, operating systems, programming languages, and software engineering, the undergraduate and graduate programs are integrated over many application areas such as cyber-security, multimedia, smartphone applications, filming, mobile and sensor networks, information management systems, bioinformatics and computational biology, and medical informatics.
