Abstract

"Assisted by Robert K. Evans, pianist, Fine Arts Recital Hall, UMC, Sunday, June 17, 1979, 8:15 p.m. The MMACU Vocal Symposium on the campuses of UMC and Stephens College, June 17-20, will feature Eleanor Steber as recitalist and master clinician. Miss Steber was leading diva of the Metropolitan Opera for 26 seasons; former head of the voice department, Cleveland Institute of Music; and is currently faculty member of the Juilliard School of Music, New England Conservatory, and American Institute of Musical Studies, Graz, Austria. Guest assisting artists are Dr. Robert K. Evans of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and Levering Rothfuss, professional coach-accompanist and former graduate of UMC. Faculty members of the participating MMACU schools will contribute as clinicians and performers."
