Abstract

Engineered nanopores have many potential applications in biosensing at the single molecule level. However, research of the pore is hindered by the time consuming and highly sensitive synthesis of a single pore. The size of the pore is known to be directly associated with the electrical current being applied, thus a robotic arm that can be programmed to perform these duties generates more flexibility as well as more accurate pores for the researcher.
