Abstract

"On the farm, power is required for numerous dissimilar tasks. It must be able to do farmstead chores, such as feedlot cleaning; furnish power for stationary jobs, such as grinding feed; handle hauling requirements; and pull field machines. If only one tractor is available, it must have sufficient power to handle the most demanding job, which is usually primary tillage."--First page.
