Abstract
This program guide is presented to you by the Black History Month Planning Committee, 1989. Again, we are indeed proud, as we have been over the past several years, to provide for you an array of programs and activities to explore, learn, appreciate and acknowledge the contributions of black Americans in furtherance of this year’s theme-The Role of Afro-American Churches in Economic, Political, and Social Development at Home and Abroad. The guide’s purpose is to assist you in planning for the numerous programs and activities occurring across campus and in the Columbia community. We hope that you will find time to join us in sharing this month’s educational experiences.
