"These recommendations are based on research conducted in Missouri and are designed to provide adequate yet economical pest insect control with a minimum of insecticide applications. Cotton insect pests in certain areas and during occasional seasons do get sufficiently ahead of the parasites and predators to make insecticidal control efforts necessary and economical."--First page.
