Text from introduction: "There is very little in the literature concerning the separation of the ortho from the para chloronitrobenzene in the eutechtic mixture. The object of this research is to review and investigate the few and impractical methods which are given and to determine a practical method of separation. There is no doubt that a method of this kind will be of great practical value since both of the compounds are valuable in the synthesis of many important and necessary products. The experiments have been carefully carried out and while some did not work according to expectations others were very satisfactory."
