Abstract
"The Mexican marimba quartet, Marimba Yajalon, will be performing on the MU campus November 14 at 7:00 p.m. in Waters Auditorium which is behind the Memorial Union to the north. The concert is free and open to the public. This concert is being sponsored by the MU Department of Music, Percussive Arts Society Student Chapter, American Latin Student Association-Graduate Chapter, Latin American Student Association, Hispanic American Leaders Organization, and the Ramada Inn Downtown. The quartet will perform on their authentic instrument as well as present a short workshop" on the construction and history of the Mexican marimba."
