Abstract

"Obviously not all who are self-employed are farmers, and not all farmers are self-employed. By examining this law as it pertains to farmers, they and others may be able to make a more learned decision about participation in Keogh Plans. With this in mind the objectives of this study are as follows: 1. To examine Public Law 87-792 as originally enacted, with particular reference to its effect on farmers. 2. To examine and analyze the 1967 amendments. 3. To analyze data from the University of Missouri Mail-in Records Analysis Program to develop guidelines which may be beneficial to those considering participation in Keogh Plans."--Objectives of this Study.
