Abstract
"The objectives of this study are: (1) To compare selected loan lengths and the resulting impact on a swine confinement system. (2) To observe the effects of different leverage ratios on a swine confinement system. (3) To compare annual cash flows from swine and confinement loans with varying leverage rates under a variable amortization plan versus a traditional straight-line amortization rate. (4) To discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these two methods of financing for the financial institutions and the borrowers alike."--Page 7.
