"Welcoming a new chancellor, the first year in the centrally located alumni center, philanthropic Homecoming events and hundreds of devoted alumni volunteers made 1992-93 a memorable year for the MU Alumni Association. MU also lost a friend and benefactor, Donald W. Reynolds, BJ '27, who died in April. Reynolds donated $9 million for the center bearing his name."--Page 29
