Abstract
Explores components and tissues of the heart, including endocardium, myocardium, and epicardium, and the cardiovascular system. This video illustrates what students should see as they view histologic slides of cells and tissues through a microscope. As individual slides are examined, Dr. Krause describes what is being seen and points out microscopic structures that the students should see under the microscope. The video was made by attaching a small TV camera onto the eyepiece of a microscope, and the images and the narration were captured in real time with iMovie on a Macintosh computer.
