Abstract
"Sioux County is an agricultural leader. The county is first in Iowa: in hog production, in dairy production, in egg production, in fed cattle, in sheep production. Animal and crop agriculture receipts are each $10 billion. Manufacturing is also important (mostly ag-related). Sioux County was settled by Dutch farmers in the latter part of the 19th Century. Latinos and other immigrants began arriving in the early part of the 21st Century."--Slide two.
