Abstract
"This budget presents information useful to swine farmers. Table 1 presents estimates for a feeder pig operation in Missouri with a production system of 22 pigs per sow per year and pigs sold at 40 pounds each. Assumptions were based on price forecasts as of November 2020. Detailed assumptions and feed requirements are summarized in Tables 2 and 3. The production practices used to develop these cost estimates are common for swine farms in Missouri. Farmers are encouraged to modify this budget to fit their operation."--First page.
