Abstract
This video illustrates what students should see as they view histologic slides of cells and tissues through a microscope. As individual slides are examined, Dr. Krause describes what is being seen and points out microscopic structures that the students should see under the microscope. The video was made by attaching a small TV camera onto the eyepiece of a microscope, and the images and the narration were captured in real time with iMovie on a Macintosh computer. Discusses components of peripheral blood and bone marrow, including erythrocytes, granulocytes, megakaryocytes, monocytes, lymphocytes, and plasma cells.
