Abstract
The changes in U.S. pork trade in the past 21 years are quite impressive. U.S. pork exports have grown from 86 million pounds carcass weight equivalent in 1986 to 3 billion pounds in 2006. This paper discusses the changes in pork trade since 1986 and how these changes have affected the industry.
