Abstract
[ACCESS RESTRICTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI AT AUTHOR'S REQUEST.] In this exhibition of assemblage sculpture works, I incorporate fragmented elements and light projectors to simultaneously convey an objectification of knowledge and to evoke subjective aspects of our being beyond fragile limitations. The works are constantly in a state of becoming - hanging delicately, they cannot be contained in a single reading or interpretation. By creating a symbolic vision via the migratory nature of birds and children, I wish to offer the viewer a chance to reexamine and reinvestigate their curiosity and imagination. encourage the viewer to acknowledge and participate in a personal emotiona response.The incorruptible and boundless nature of our innocence, curiosity, and imagination is a particular consciousness; when awareness is restored, our attentiveness revitalizes the fragility of our knowledge.
