On the job host Karen Robinson interviews John Furlong, Director of the Brentwood Public Library in St. Louis County. A graduate of MU's library science program in 1991, John also serves as the President of the Municipal Library Consortium in St. Louis and as Member-at-Large on the Executive Board of the Missouri Library Association. John talks about the renovation project completed at Brentwood Public, his professional library experiences, as well as his volunteer work in Nicaragua at the first "book-lending" public library, Brentwood PL.
