Abstract

"Most pesticide poisonings result from careless use, improper storage or ignorance. Of the 29 accidential pesticide poisoning deaths in 1982 (latest official figures), five involved children younger than five years, according to the National Safety Council. You can avoid pesticide accidents if you follow a few basic safety rules."--First page.
