Abstract
"PHASE I: Patient Satisfaction is key as established by our performance goals by MUHC for FY 2016. As a resilient, dedicated, nursing team on Oncology Inpatient we plan to partner with the physician teams that round daily on our Inpatient Oncology unit. In doing so, we aim to increase our MD/RN communication, our patients perception of our physicians and nurses actively listening to their issues/questions, and ultimately increase overall patient satisfaction. We plan to have initial MD/RN Rounding PDSA meetings with nursing staff to introduce the concept of MD/RN Rounding as well as expectations of staff to follow through with rounding at the patients bedside with our physician teams..."--What did we attempt to accomplish?
