Abstract
Because of the controversies concerning whether concrete, and especially reinforced concrete, acted the same when placed in structures as when tested in the laboratories, we arranged to make some tests on the bleachers on Rollins Field. These bleachers are of rather new construction and offer a good chance to study the effects of temperature on such construction. They are situated apart from other structures and not being subjected to daily use, experiments may be carried on without interference.
