"Prepared by The Department of Agricultural Economics Agricultural Experiment Station University of Missouri Columbia, Missouri for The Missouri Division of Commerce and Industrial Development Jefferson City, Missouri. September, 1966. This report was prepared to present information on one of Missouri’s largest industries—agriculture. Most statistics were taken from the "1964 Census of Agriculture" published through the United States Bureau of the Census with selected comparisons to the Census of Agriculture for 1949, 1954 and 1959. Some estimates by the United States Department of Agriculture were utilized. The Information used to prepare the maps is available from the Missouri Division of Commerce and Industrial Development, Jefferson City, Missouri."
