Abstract
"Spring oats are grown both for grain and for hay in Missouri. Early naturing varieties as well as early seeding are necessary for a high yield of good quality grain under Missouri climatic conditions. Consistent superior performance is also highly related to resistance to pest problems--such as disease resistance."--First page.
