Abstract

"Knowledge about families and how they adapt to stress has lagged behind the need for educational programs to help families develop coping and adaptation skills. In an attempt to respond to this need, the NCR-164 Agricultural Experiment Station project, "Stress, Coping and Adaptation in the Middle Years of the Family Life Cycle," was established. The educational materials described in this pamphlet are in part a result of this research."--Page 3.
