Abstract

"An important forage in various parts of the South, johnsongrass is a major weed problem along the Missouri River and several of its tributaries. From Atchison County to the northwest corner of the state through the Bootheel, thousands of acres of fertile bottomland have become infested to the extent that cropping has been serious affected."--First page.
