Abstract
This condition of milk prices has lead to considerable unrest in the dairy industry. State and federal experts have studied the problem, and extension and country agricultural workers, city chambers of commerce, special committes appointed by citizens, boards of health and other municipal organizations and officers are devoting considerable time to the study of milk costs. It is the purpose of the author in this study to deal with the problem only from the standpoint of the cost of production on the farm and to not include the subject of distribution, which constitutes a problem of perhaps equal importance.
