Abstract
ICCF 18 will be a scientific conference with detailed presentations and discussions of experimental and theoretical investigations relevant to understanding Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR). This LENR Introductory Short Course is being offered on the opening day of the conference for three reasons: (a) to provide context for the topics covered during the conference, (b) to make those topics more understandable, and (c) to cover some topics and issues closely related to LENR, which will not be part of the conference.
