Abstract
Bees were collected with water traps. Two pairs of bowls were set out per site,with members within a pair separated by 20 cm and pairs separated by 5 ill. Collected a total of 256 samples. Unscented liquid soap was used to minimize bias from differential attraction to odor. Yellow and blue bowls were used because the visual acuity of most Hymenoptera tested to date includes only three fields: yellow, blue, and ultraviolet.
