Abstract
Corps of Discovery: A Musical Journey saw its world premiere at MU in May 2003 as part of that year's Show-Me Opera series. "The nation's first musical drama featuring the Lewis and Clark expedition, commissioned for the national bicentennial of that journey," by the University of Missouri-Columbia. The production's music was composed by Michael Ching with a libretto by Hugh Moffatt and Michael Ching. Pamela Legendre served as the artistic director. The poster's design was done by Paul Jackson.
