Abstract
"The purpose of the study is to obtain information concerning the pricing and trading practices of country grain elevators in Missouri that will be of value to grains producers, elevator operators, and others who are interested in grain marketing efficiency. An attempt was made to learn the current sources of pricing information used by country elevator operators, their marketing margins, methods of sale, and practices employed in quality determination of grain. As more information on grain marketing is made available, there will be a tendency for increased efficiency in the process of moving grain and its products from producers to cosumers."--Page 3
