Abstract
In twentieth century heterosexual relationships, there is a discriminative bias of sexuality as men in the dominant role and women in the submissive role. As such, there are social stigmas and pressures placed upon both the male and female genders to behave a certain way in a sexual situation. The social stigma of purchasing or owning condoms is that women who do so are sexually promiscuous or dirty.
