Using GeoGebra in Secondary Mathematics

Abstract

In this workshop, we will explore what GeoGebra can do as an example of dynamic geometry software. GeoGebra has two very important advantages over other similar programs: it is free, and it can save documents as HTML pages without much effort from the user. GeoGebra enables teachers to create accurate diagrams and illustrations, create interactive demonstrations, create construction files for students to use, create dynamic worksheets (as web pages). GeoGebra combines characteristics of dynamic geometry programs with some characteristics of Computer Algebra Systems.
