Abstract: This thesis discusses the control of aeration schemes on a lab sized sequencing batch reactor used for biological wastewater treatment. The focus was changing aeration schemes for two lab reactors and determining which might work best for full scale facilities. Several full scale facilities were visited to determine how the lab research related to the actual operation of full scale wastewater treatment.
