Abstract: Stress management training may help reduce glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels in adolescents and young adults with poorly controlled type 1 diabetes. (SOR: B, based on a single RCT.) Stress management training may also be effective for patients with type 2 diabetes, although any effect is small and occurs slowly. (SOR: C, based on a single RCT with a high dropout rate.)
