Current evidence shows that only individuals with hypertension may benefit, with a reduced systolic blood pressure of about 5 mmHg. This is comparable to many other lifestyle modifications, including moderate exercise. Incorporating this evidence into clinical practice may be challenging, as the practicality, cost, appropriate dose, and duration of effects remain unknown.
