Abstract: In treating patients with de Quervain's tenosynovitis, single or repeated steroid injections (without splinting) more effectively treat pain and functional limitation than splinting, steroid injection with splinting, or oral nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
