Motivation change in college students
Abstract
[ACCESS RESTRICTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI AT AUTHOR'S REQUEST.] This study investigates the change of motivation of undergraduate students across an academic semester. Stepwise model comparison of individual change models was used to describe growth patterns of motivation. Results indicate that motivation patterns differ in initial state and rate of change across gender, semester of participation and reason for enrolling in the general psychology class.
