Disposal of the east side sewage, Columbia, Mo.

Abstract

Owing to the location of the main sewer system of Columbia, Missouri, and the topography of the immediate and surrounding country on which the city is located, it is difficult to dispose of the sewage of the east part of the city without causing a nuisance to several different parties. The object, therefore, of this investigation is to determine as nearly as possible the most economical and most practicable method for disposing of the sewage not provided for, or which cannot be run into the main system; to design main piping for same; and determine cost.
