Abstract: MedSocket is an innovative medical search engine that allows healthcare workers to simultaneously search for and retrieve the information aggregated from 175 best content sources (e.g., UpToDate, OVID, Cochrane), patient-specific data (e.g., EHR and HIE), organizational data (e.g., secured Intranet), and personal notes (e.g., secured HD and e-mail). Aggregation of information from numerous sources in one place may guarantee up to 100% coverage of answers to clinical questions at the point of care. To achieve an optimal search experience, MedSocket offers features like, simple search, customized aggregation, EHR integration, personalization, and integration with Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
