Abstract: The use of proton pump inhibitors (PPI) with clopidogrel and aspirin reduces the rate of adverse gastrointestinal (GI) events (SOR: B, RCT). The evidence is conflicting on cardiovascular outcomes in cardiac patients receiving clopidogrel and a PPI (no SOR given).
