What medicine best prevents migraines in children?

In children with recurrent migraines, propranolol, amitriptyline, topiramate, and valproic acid are all effective for reducing headache frequency, duration, and severity (SOR: B, RCT and cohort studies). Unfortunately, comparison studies are not available.
