QA/QC and Risk Management

Abstract

This presentation looks at issues dealing with QA (Quality Assurance) and QC (Quality Control) in GISs. QA refers to to a comprehensive approach or system for ensuring product quality. QC refers to an action or step designed to test product quality for any number of properties. The presentation looks at common errors which should be avoided and analyzing requirements for a QC system, as well as guidelines for cost-effective error checking.
