Financial Analysis of Missouri Broiler-Beef Farms

Broilers rank sixth behind cattle, soybeans, corn, hogs, and hay in value of production and provide about 960 full-time jobs in the direct care of flocks. The regional impact is magnified in the relatively few counties where broiler production is concentrated.
