Bilhaṇa's Vikramāṅkadevacarita and its neo-expounders (1991)
Abstract
The Vikramāṅkadevacarita mahākāvya of the great Kashmirian poet Bilhaṇa is one of the best (if not the best) historical poem in Sanskrit literature. It follows a new path in poetic composition and blazes a new trail scarcely witnessed in earlier poets.
