Combinations of the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet, exercise, and weight loss can reduce systolic blood pressure (SBP) by 12 to 16 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) by nearly 10 mmHg. The individual components produce blood pressure (BP) reductions of lower magnitude (SOR: C, systematic reviews and consistent RCTs of disease-oriented outcomes).
