What is the diagnostic approach to a patient with leg cramps? Evidence-Based Answer: A careful history targeting possible peripheral vascular disease, arthritis, and medication use (particularly diuretics, statins, and long-acting bronchodilators) is likely helpful in evaluating a patient with leg cramps.
