dc.description.abstractAttention deficit hyperactivity disorder, more commonly known as ADHD, is highly prevalent in children. Due to the prevalence of this disease, more research is being performed in areas such as practitioner effectiveness, treatment adherence, varieties of treatment, and disease experience. These factors heavily influence the course of the disease and oftentimes the child’s life experience. Various studies have found problems with the current handling of the disease and suggest betters options for parents, children, and providers.eng
