Location based information exchange : final report

Abstract

What we have achieved: Through this project, we have achieved a location-based information exchange and sharing platform on campus. This platform can let people in university search for and post information based on specific campus locations selected on a map. The applications based on PC part have almost done. For smart phone part, we are still programming and developing. We are planning to publish the PC based beta version before the beginning of 2010 fall semester. The application can help students locate information on campus such as finding interesting activities, events and announcements. The platform will provide more accurate and efficient information exchange and sharing among students, which will greatly improve student life.
