An anesthesiologist by the name of Fujii, suspected for years of data fabrication, had all his studies reviewed by a suspicious colleague with a special interest in statistics. The investigator found that in 13 of Fujii's human studies where data on weight, age, and height were included, the data were very, very unlikely to come from the random enrollment of patients.
