Discovery Interfaces and Music: Summon

Abstract

Presentation given at the Music Library Association Annual Meeting on March 2, 2013 in San Jose, California. This presentation examines the Serials Solutions “Summon” product as a discovery interface for music. It was part of a panel discussion on ”Discovery Interfaces and Music” which examined various discovery interfaces and their success (and challenges) with music materials, particularly in light of the needs outlined in the Music Discovery Requirements (MDR) document.
